- HB 1435: This bill would require Nurse Aides to keep their addresses on file with the Oklahoma State Department of Health. Currently, if there is a complaint against a Nurse Aide, and if the Department of Health cannot locate the current address of such Nurse Aide, the investigation may be dropped.This bill is important because it will hold all health care professional accountable to their licensing board.
- HB 1327: This bill would make wide-ranging changes in nursing home facilities. For example, it would strengthen the requirement that nursing homes allow Resident Councils.This bill would also increase the mandatory staffing levels, which would lead to better care for nursing home residents.
